Nature Play and Creative Adventures for children and their Family

At Wild Ground, families come to breathe out. Through nature play, creative projects, and gentle rhythms, we make space for children and grownups to slow down, reconnect, and feel more like themselves. It’s a place to get muddy, make art, share stories — and remember what matters most.

Ways to Journey with Us

outdoor programs

Much-loved by locals, rooted in place.
Wild Ground’s outdoor programs take place on Dharug and Gundungurra Country in the Blue Mountains, NSW. We offer nature play sessions, bushwalks, early childhood programs, and bush school adventure workshops aligned with the curriculum for primary-aged students. Our days are slow, sensory, and full of possibility — designed to support connection, creativity, and belonging. We also provide professional development for educators seeking nature-based, relational learning approaches.

online courses

Our online courses bring the spirit of Wild Ground into your everyday — wherever you are. Rooted in nature connection, mindfulness, and creative reflection, these self-paced experiences offer practical tools for parents and caregivers who want to feel more steady, present, and real — without needing to leave the house.

creative projects

Our creative projects explore collaborative connective practice with local artists and local community. From community art to reflective writing, our creative offerings are about more than making things — they’re about making space. Space for expression, for play, for grief and joy. We hold space for families and individuals to connect through story, texture, colour, and craft — always accessible, always heart-led.
