Bush School Adventures
Bush School Adventures
Our Bush School Adventure is a curriculum-aligned, inclusive outdoor program in the Blue Mountains for 5-12 year olds. Sessions are mostly child-led and aligned with six key learning areas of the Australian Curriculum. These include: English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education and The Arts.
Founded on the Forest school principles of place-based education, our sessions nurture all aspects of your child’s social, emotional and academic development.

Curriculum Links
Wild Ground education programs create strong links between outdoor place-based learning and the Australian Curriculum to ensure students are equipped with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to support environmental stewardship of their local natural areas.
Cross Curriculum Priorities
Wild Ground programs integrate with the cross curriculum priorities of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures to ensure students are deepening their knowledge of Australia by engaging with the world’s oldest continuous living cultures. In using this conceptual framework we promote Identity and Living Communities and the key concepts of Country/Place, Culture and People.
